I clean the tire first then apply with a spongy, synthetic sponge. Can
be any applicator though. It doesn’t take a lot to coat the tire. Let
it sit for a few minutes then wipe it down with a clean dry micro
fiber. Dulls it down and reduces the sling factor. I’ve had some guys
tell me they used a heat drier of some kind to bake it into the
rubber. It’s to glossy for the guys who like the new tire or matte
look, but it lasts a long while and starts to look more like that the
longer it’s been on the tire.
